Hynosis: Your Tool for Positive Change!, February 6, 2012 @ 6 PM
Join Kyle Horton today. Kyle has been a certified hypnotist through the National Guild of Hypnotists since 2009. This event will serve to educate people on the topic of hypnosis and engage them in an interesting and open way. Topics include: history of hypnosis; truth and benefits of hypnosis; participate in tests using the power of suggestion; find out how hypnosis pertinas to you personally.
Kyle will be available afterwards to discuss further topics and points. Handouts will be available.

Thursday, Feb. 23 @ 10:30 - Dog Safety with Tracey & Dundee. Please register and plan to learn about dogs, their cues and learn a trick or two.

Winter Storytimes begin the week of January 1, 2012: Book Buddies (3 years old to K) meet on Tuesdays at 2 PM (except for 1/3 & 2/7 when A to Z Storytime meets); Mother Goose meets on Wednesdays at 10 AM (birth to 3 year olds); and Families & Books meets on Thursdays at 10:30 AM (for all preschoolers).
Story Times will not meet during February vacation week (2/20). Story Times are cancelled when the EB schools are cancelled for inclement weather.

EB Library's 2nd Annual Touch a Truck Event, Wednesday, July 20 10:30-12:30. Join us for more fun this year. EB Cable, DPW, Fire and Police will be there. Some military vehicles, and other fun trucks. Music from WODS, a face painter, many area sports' teams mascots as well. Good time! Event is located at the High School in the back parking lot. Please park in front of the high school.
AbraKIDabra Magic with Mike Bent: Monday, July 25 @ 6:30. Back by popular demand - Mike always puts on a show that has kids laughing and in awe! Ages 3 and up.
You Are Hot Here: Beach Crafts - Tuesday, July 26 @ 2:30 PM.
Gr. 4+ Join us for a fun hour. We'll make a craft or two related to the beach. We'll also make our snack and then enjoy it! Some good "beach reads" will out to share.
Fairies: Books and Craft - Thursday, July 28 @ 10:30 AM - Come learn about all the fairy books the library owns, learn stories about fairies and complete a fairy craft. Gr. 2 and up. Next week (same time) families come to make fairy houses!

Stories and More with Kate Goodwin - Saturday, May 14 from 10:30 a.m.
Join us for this theme-based, Saturday morning storytime. We’ll read stories, sing songs and make a simple craft. Each child will receive a book to bring home and read with you again and again. Parents will receive handouts on suggestions for age-appropriate expectations for growing readers. Space is limited to 14 children so sign up early. Supported by a grant from Target. EB Library Foodie Group - Monday, April 11 from 7-8 p.m.
Our speakers, Mark Nickerson and Michael Grossman will talk about food choices available to soliders on the Civil War battlefields, how the meals were prepared, what challenges were faced by the cooks and presnt some dishes made using period recipes. Mark Nickerson and Michael Grossman reenact with the 12th Massachusetts Volunteers Infantry regiment.
