The East Bridgewater Public Library is proud to be an affiliate library of FamilySearch.

As a FamilySearch affiliate library, we are able to offer East Bridgewater Public Library patrons greater and more convenient access to the wealth of genealogical resources available through FamilySearch. The popular web service has over 13 billion searchable names and 6 billion viewable images of historical genealogical records—and you get the helpful
assistance of knowledgeable, in person library staff.

FamilySearch adds hundreds of millions of free genealogical records and images online yearly from all over the world and manages the famous FamilySearch Library in Salt Lake City. It has amassed billions of birth, marriage, death, census, land and court records from more than 200 countries and territories to help you discover and make family connections.   

FamilySearch is accessible to our patrons on any of our four public computers. You can also access FamilySearch from your personal device when using the library's Wi-Fi. Patrons will be required to set up a free account with FamilySearch in order to access the website.
