This view on West Street is looking east toward Bedford St. At the left is the barn of John Keenan, built to keep his horse and wagon in. The urns are in front of the Harden house at 33 West St. Next, on the left, is the end of Cushing Mitchell's house, sometimes known as the Gideon Wilbur house. Holden Green, a native of Elmwood who was well known for his work on old buildings, dismanteled the house and rebuilt it at Woods Hole. At the end of the street is a watering trough and beyond is the Levi Churchill house at 718 Bedford St.
